About the Movement

A youth mission movement with a global heartbeat.

1000MM North America exists to help young adults say yes to Jesus, grow in discipleship, and step into courageous gospel service.

Our Story

North America is part of a much larger mission witness.

The 1000 Missionary Movement began in 1992 as a training center for young missionaries and has grown into a wider global network of mission branches and sending communities.

The 1000 Missionary Movement began in 1992 as a training center for young missionaries and has grown into a wider global network of mission branches and sending communities.

North America carries that same burden locally: to identify, equip, send, and support young people who want their faith to move beyond comfort and into practical service.

Why this matters now

North America needs a renewed imagination for mission. Young adults are looking for purpose, churches want to disciple the next generation, and communities need a visible witness of hope.

Core Values

The movement is shaped by formation, sacrifice, and partnership.

We believe healthy missionaries grow through deep roots, shared mission, and real accountability.

Christ-Centered Formation

Spiritual growth matters as much as ministry output. Prayer, Scripture, humility, and obedience are part of the training pathway.

Mission With Sacrifice

Mission is not a side project. We prepare young adults to serve with endurance, simplicity, and love in unfamiliar contexts.

Local Church Partnership

Missionaries flourish when churches send, pray, mentor, and remain invested before, during, and after placement.
